Alan Garbutt, senior pastor

Pastor Alan and his wife Debbie began their ministry at Faith Baptist Church in July 2017. They came to Faith after serving in West Point, Mississippi and have also ministered in Georgia. They have served the Lord in the pastoral ministry for over thirty years. Pastor Alan accepted Christ as his savior while he was a sophomore at Bob Jones University, where he received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Shortly after his salvation he surrendered to full time ministry. His desire and heartbeat for the ministry is to see people grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and in their love for the Lord while using their gifts in the Lord’s service. In addition to pastoring at Faith, Pastor Alan also serves on the board of Baptist Home Missions. The Garbutts met while they were students at BJU and were married in 1985. They have five grown children, two of whom are married, and one grandchild.

Joe Fraga, office administrator

An immigrant to the USA, Joe was born on the island of Flores in the Azores Islands, Portugal, and grew up in California. He met the Lord during his first Air Force duty assignment at Cape Canaveral in Florida and retired from military service in 1989. Following his military career, Joe went into business for himself until the Lord led him to serve full time as the Office Administrator at Faith. Joe and his wife, Fran, who was born in the Dominican Republic, have been married for 25 years. They have one grown son, Jonathan, who holds a bachelor’s degree in voice performance from Bob Jones University and is currently serving in various ministries at Faith.
